GAME ON

So Swiss Beats is putting Reggie on a whole other type of game. Killin the shoe game, Swiss gave us some exclusives pics of his new collection of Christian Louboutin shoes. I think Swiss is actually working with Christian on the new line but he will not say, so it's just left to the wondering mind.

Step OFF

Photobucket

So Atlanta Civic Center hosted the Sprite Step Off Competition where Drake and Llyod took center stage. By the end of the show they announced the women of Zeta Tau Alpha’s Epsilon chapter the first place winners of the 2010 Step Off, which I believe they stomped off. These girls went hard but you have to check it out for yourself.

What do you think??

This Sh%+ is All I Know

I am the intelligent conversation.....
Check out the new Billionarie Boys Club Spring/Summer releases...I dont know about you, but this is dope. One thing I like about BBC is they keep it real and simple with their clothing, and know how to transition for streetwear to office appropriate. These items will be released tomorrow at THE ICECREAM STORE in Tokyo.

Skateboard P

Who said art doesn't have "Skateboard Potential"

Big ups to HARVEST by haroshi, which is, his creative way of recycling artwork. Sometimes skaters use skateboards as a canvas to show artwork on... but I never would have thought to use it in this type of context.

"Skate decks eventually see its life shortened by snapping, cracking and/or wearing out. Purchasing new decks is a never ending cycle and this was evident by the tower of old decks that were reaching to the ceiling of my room. We can’t throw away these decks because they hold sentimental meanings to us. I looked at these unusable decks every day and thought there must be something I can make with these. I decided to make some accessories with the old decks and this was the birth of Harvest. The works of Harvest are through the perspectives of a skater and as an artist. As a skater, I want to take responsibility of reusing skateboards when they were no longer useable. Also, as an artist I want to explore the possibilities of what can be done with skateboards. We see the care and effort that a skater can have for his/her deck and we also acknowledge the origins of a skateboard. We believe that if the small things we do can connect to sustainability then we’re doing something right. We’d be satisfied in our effort when people look at products and start thinking of ways to recycle."

Coldest Winter

Video: Kanye West - Coldest Winter
Director: NABIL

“It’s pretty minimalistic. It’s slow and very visual. I just wanted to catch the vibe of the song and not get too literal. Because the lyrics are very close to Kanye and go much deeper than the video goes, obviously hearing the song you know it’s very emotional.”

Rihanna x Pop Art

The new single from Rihanna's album Rated R, Rude Boy, takes a different direction to the storyplay of her song. Instead of traditional filming, the director took a more 1980's Pop Art approach by incorporating island colorways and streams of geometric shapes. Holding down the title of being a fashionista, Rihanna is seen sporting one of the late Alexander McQueen pieces.(gold and black leggings)as shown in picture above

TO ONE OF THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL DESIGNERS

ALEXANDER McQUEEN

"We are devastated to learn of the death of Alexander McQueen, one of the greatest talents of his generation. He brought a uniquely British sense of daring and aesthetic fearlessness to the global stage of fashion. In such a short career, Alexander McQueen’s influence was astonishing — from street style, to music culture and the world’s museums. His passing marks an insurmountable loss." -Editor-in-chief of American Vogue Anna Wintour

"Today, the fashion industry has lost a true great. An icon of all time. He made all he touched beautiful and will be desperately missed. My heart is very much with his family and friends at this very sad time." -Victoria Beckham

“RIP Alexander McQueen. so so sad. such a huge loss. He was one of my favorite designers. He will be missed.” -Tyra Banks

"Alexander McQueen was unique. His imagination had no limits, he had an amazing personality and his creativity was genius. Alexander McQueen... The fashion world has not only lost an icon but we have also lost a very special friend." -Donatella Versace

"His talent had no boundaries and he was an inspiration to everyone who worked with him and knew him. This is a sad day to all who loved him around the world and my condolences are with his family. I will miss him so much, he will never be forgotten." -Naomi Campbell
