Frédérique Daubal, Paris

French artist and photographer, Frederique Daubal, has creatively portrait a streak of genius when it comes to design. Known from her graphic background, freelancing for clients worldwide, she has pushed the envelope by experimenting with 3-D textiles and has even pushed pushed products using 2econd hand pieces. "For this series, ‘Hide and Seek’, Daubal cut out pages from fashion magazines to make masks resembling Muslim veils – a thought-provoking art piece on what it means to be French today."

TO INFINITY AND BEYOND

If you've been looking around any accessories in the malls lately, the new trend for watches are the clear bands. Everybody has them, G-Shock, Fossil, Guess, Addidas, Dior; it goes on, but Shayan Afshar has collaborated with Levi Mastro to produce the ultimate wrist piece. The yellow 18k gold plated cuffs are an eye catcher and really pops from the transparent band. Although, to me, it would be very difficult to distinguish the time off quick glance, its still a great look. But lets be real, who wears watches for the time anymore, we have phones for that. Don't let your time run out. The "Infinity Piece" are very limited. Only 12 people will have this on their wrist.
