While the pieces are basic the brand and the store is inspired by Monki World; which is a fantasy world inhabited by little creatures with dual personas, living in a world of oil and steel. To put it simply, Monki's World is a lush world with butterflies, trees, and mysterious chemicals. So this is what happens when Air Force 1 meets Kanye West 808s & Heartbreak. Mixing the signature Kanye check suit with the Kaws artwork from his latest album and he even incorporated the Lego hearts by Dee and Ricky on the tongue. SOO DOPE!

Giles Deacon Spring Summer 2009 runway show was extremely creative, the floor of which was painted with the familiar graphic imagery of the 80's video game pac man, which was anything but conservative. In an homage to Midway's Pac Man video game, he had quite a few models to strut down the runway wearing large metal headgear which emulated the pac man characters (with a little creative liberty, of course).

Skating is becoming a lifestyle and the shoes are pairing with it. DC dropped their newest line, the Holiday 2008 Lifestyle Collection. I know the subdued colors and slenderized contour might be disguising but don't rest on them. It's premium materials and leathers gives the collection a lavish quality.
